Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly happening.
